Welcome to the 2025 NFL Kickoff!
This forecast covers the Thursday and Friday opening games. Using my custom model, I provide Against the Spread (ATS) picks, Moneyline (ML) calls, and Over/Under (Totals) predictions. The goal is to compare my forecast vs the Vegas line and highlight where the edges are.
The Eagles are flying high heading into their home opener, with momentum from last season’s Super Bowl run.
Philadelphia’s roster remains one of the deepest in the league, now powered by All-Pro RB Saquon Barkley in the backfield. Dallas, meanwhile, enters the year surrounded by turbulence. A new head coach and staff take over a locker room still adjusting after trading away defensive cornerstone Micah Parsons, watching veteran OL Zack Martin retire, and relying on QB Dak Prescott returning from a season-ending injury. The Eagles’ continuity and playmaking edge should be too much for the Cowboys to handle in Week 1.
Forecast: Eagles 30 – Cowboys 20 | ATS: PHI -8.5 | ML: PHI | O/U: Over 46

⚡ KC vs LAC — Friday Night in Brazil
The NFL takes center stage in São Paulo as Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs face Justin Herbert’s Chargers in the first international Friday night kickoff. Kansas City begins its title defense with familiar weapons but questions at wide receiver depth. The Chargers are banking on Herbert’s arm and an aggressive passing game to keep pace, though inconsistency and defensive breakdowns plagued them in recent years. Playing on neutral turf, this matchup projects as a back-and-forth shootout where field position and special teams could decide the final margin.
