This is the first game of the NFL 2024 season and it will be played at Arrowhead stadium in Kansas City Missouri. The Chiefs start their journey to pursue their goal of being the first team to win three straight super bowls. Many teams have tried in the past but failed in their pursuit to ‘threepeat’ due to injuries, fatigue and change in personnel. The Chiefs have an excellent chance to do it more than any other team I can recall in recent memory. As I analyze this game there are a few things that stand out to me that I believe will be the decisive factors in who wins this game. The Ravens had an outstanding season last year and experienced a lot of change in their coaching staff and personnel in the offseason. The Ravens lost their brilliant defensive coordinator, defensive line coach and defensive backs coach from last season, a key linebacker in Patrick Queen and they are missing three starters from the offensive line. They did acquire RB Derrick Henry in free agency from the Tennessee Titans. This AFC rivalry game will be very intense and the Chiefs will be tested right away. The Chiefs have lost some key players on defense at CB and LB but did acquire Hollywood Brown but he will not be available for this game.
