The NFL Aftermath

NFL Week 10 saw favorites finally cover at a high rate, and home teams reverse recent trends of struggling to win and cover. Weather continued to impact some games in the Midwest and Northeast as well.

Here are some key observations that we cover in this post:

  • Revenge of home teams and favorites: After some losing weeks, home teams bounced back in a big way in Week 10 11-3 SU and 8-6 ATS, as did favorites with a 9-5 record ATS
  • Tom Brady Bounce Back Game: Tampa Bay put up only 3 points last week, but came out with a little different result this week scoring 46 points at Carolina
  • Drew Brees’ injury means it’s Jameis Time: The Saints beat the 49ers 27-13, bad news for the Saints Drew Brees suffered broken ribs and will be out for at least 2-3 weeks, as the Saints fight for a top seed in the NFC.
